Electoral Law 2026: Separating Fact from Fiction

Some opposition groups are spreading confusion about the new Electoral Law 2026, fueled by misinformation and a refusal to understand its provisions.

The law combines BVAS (Bimodal Voter Accreditation System) and Form EC8A to make election rigging nearly impossible and easily detectable in court.

*So, why the opposition's fierce resistance?* 🤔

They're fighting to preserve the status quo, hiding behind the issue of real-time electronic transmission, which is already part of the law.

Meaning that real-time electronic transmission is already part of the new electoral law 2026, plus Proviso backup plan where network failed for Realtime Transmission.

*Hidden Agenda of the Selfish Opposition*

The opposition is selectively objecting to the backup proviso, which states that if the network fails, the unit votes are deemed failed, with a chain reaction of annulling such elections nationwide.

*The Opposition's Stance*

The opposition is essentially saying that if the network fails, the entire election should be annulled nationwide - *Now you see their plan*

This is a clear attempt to undermine the electoral process and maintain their grip on power - all Nigerians should wake up to this realization and the malicious plots of the selfish opposition.

*The Truth*

The new law has provisions for real-time electronic transmission and a backup plan in case of network failure. It's time to set the record straight and ensure Nigerians understand the law.
