Contactless Passport Renewal means renewing your passport without physical contact with officers nor offices.

Process for the first time passport application

Those who are applying for new passport for the first time need to do the following:

1. Apply online and then 
2. Get appointment to appear at the passport office for biometric capture. 
3. Appearing for biometric capturing - this is a once in a lifetime process.
4. Your passport posted to your desired location 

Process for the  passport renewal 

Renewal is every five years. It is contactless - just apply online from the comfort of your home.

Launching Date: 

The service will starting in:

• Canada on November 1, 2024
• Expand to the *UK, USA, Italy, and finally 
• Nigeria by December 1, 2024
